How many people can join?
While cruising, 12 guests is the maximum. However, when the boat is docked, the limit of people goes up to 20.
Where do the cruises depart from/end at?
It all depends on your preferences, we're flexible! As a starting point, however, the cruises will depart from and end at the MarinaBay harbor.
How fast does the Ark go?
The normal cruising speed for the Ark is between 4-5 nautical miles (7-10km) per hour. This is an essential factor to consider when planning your routes and destinations.
What about beverages?
Please note that alcohol is not offered on the boat. We allow guests to bring their own alcohol on board our cruises, but we ask that they drink responsibly and in moderation. Don't forget that we also offer a Soft Drinks package!
What about food?
We have four different food add-ons that you can add to your booking: Pizza Menu, Bowl Menu, Scandinavian Menu, and Archipelago Menu. All these are sourced by local partners and taste even better at sea! For more information, head to Cruises & Prices.
Food cancellations and changes
All food add-ons are final and it is not possible to change nor cancel them after booking.
Can we prolong our cruise?
Yes, prolonging is possible in accordance with availability! Extra hours at sea cost 150€/h. Please note that the payment is only possible while on board the Ark either by cash or MobilePay and that the return to the harbor must occur before 22:00.
Is it possible to stay on the Ark while it is docked at the harbor?
Yes, it is! In case you would like to experience Kanavaranta - the most lively shoreline street in Helsinki, just say so!
What routes do cruises follow?
Routes go wherever you want! We are dedicated to making every cruise a perfect match for you, so we will adjust to your requests as much as we possibly can. Longer cruises make more time for anchoring and sightseeing around the Helsinki Seas. If you are not sure where to go, don't worry, our knowledgeable captains got you covered! Behavior on board?
All guests are expected to behave sophisticatedly on board the Ark. The captain has the ultimate authority and reserves a right to end the cruise early in case guests are not behaving appropriately. Be careful on the rum, savvy?
Do cruises get cancelled because of bad weather?
Our experienced captains will never put anyone at risk. As a general rule of thumb we reserve the right to cancel and reschedule cruises when wind is reported to be over 12m/s. Rain, however, is not to be considered a sufficient reason for cancellation. There is of course space for everyone in the upper and lower cabins. Cruising in the rain is no biggie as long as you channel your inner pirate.
How about the general cancellation policy?

Cancellations made 7 days or more in advance of the cruise date will receive a 100% refund.

Cancellations made within 3 - 6 days of the cruise date will receive a 50% refund.

Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the cruise date are non-refundable

No-shows will be charged the full price.
What amenities do you offer?
On board we have 3x Fatboys (of which two float!), multiple other floaties, a JBL Partybox 310 Speaker, 2x JBL PMB100 Karoke Microphones, 70L cooling box & ice. Delve deeper into our cruise packages here.
Do we need to bring anything?
A great packing list for a cruise with the Ark contains all the summer essentials: bathing suit, towel, sunglasses, own beverages, and a great mood! Depending on your purpose of cruising, you could bring a book or even a board game!
